Parkview Latin Teacher Earns Prestigious Meritus Award
Only five Latin teachers in the nation earned the highest honor in the Latin teaching profession.

The American Classical League honored Dr. Robert Patrick of Parkview High
as one of only five Latin teachers in the nation to earn a 2014 Meritus
Award.
The Meritus Award is among the highest honors in the Latin teaching
profession and recognizes sustained and distinguished service to the
Classics.

This is a prestigious honor for a teacher who has earned numerous
honors, including Parkview High School Teacher of the Year for the 2008–09
school year, Foreign Language Association of Georgia Teacher of the Year in
2012, teacher of the year for the Southern Conference on Language Teaching
in 2013, and 2013 National Language Teacher of the Year finalist.
