Senior quarterback Jack Esmonde threw for 141 yards on 9-of-18 passing but the Stephenson Jaguars pulled out a 14-3 victory over the Parkview Panthers last week.
Esmonde showed his leadership in the tough loss, helping keep the Panthers in stride with the state-ranked Jaguars. Parkview led 3-0 before Stephenson used two big plays to pull away in the second half.
