On August 23 around 9:30 a.m., the resident called 911 again to say the same suspect had returned. He was seen going into the house next door before police arrived. Police searched the home and found Hatcher in a bathroom.

Initially, Hatcher gave the officers a false name and date of birth before they were able to verify his identity, and find he had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Officers found jewelry in Hatcher’s pockets, and jewelry, electronics and clothing in bags he was carrying.

Pihera said in the news release that the department’s Burglary Unit is sorting through the items recovered to see if of them were stolen in the recent burglaries.
