Quarters, Fake Firearms Stolen in Lilburn Burglary
A Lilburn resident told police that someone stole a replica firearm, bullets and two jugs of quarters while she was in rehab.

A woman told Gwinnett Police that someone entered her home and stole a replica firearm, a box of .22 caliber bullets and two glass jugs filled with quarters.
The woman, 54, reported the burglary occurred in her home at the 4200 block of Bending River Drive off Lake Lucerne Road last Sunday, Jan. 30.
She told police that the crime occurred any time between 8 a.m. Jan. 26 and 5 p.m. Jan. 30 since she was out for rehabilitation during this time.

Police noted in the report that several other jugs filled with dimes and nickels were not taken; the quarter-filled jugs were taken from the same area.
The other two items, a black pistol with no firing mechanism and a box of bullets, were stolen from a desk drawer in a bedroom located at the other end of the residence.

Despite the distance between where thefts occurred, no other items were stolen, according to the police report.
The report also said there were no signs of forced entry; all doors and windows were secure.
