Below are this week's results of recent Gwinnett County restaurant inspections in Greater Lilburn by the East Metro Health District, which covers Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton counties. Each report includes a synopsis of deficiencies found by the inspector.

Violations cited: The manager's food safety certification had expired in July. Shredded cheese on salads, macaroni and cheese and hamburger patties weren't kept at the right temperature. Sliced pepperoni and opened pizza sauce were left out on the prep table with no time controls in place. Sliced ham and chicken salad were kept too long in the refrigerator. There was a case of out-of-date milk in the cooler. The thermometer in the walk-in cooler wasn't working properly. A nondigital thermometer was being used to test temperature of thin foods and wasn't giving the right reading. Students were helping themselves to unwrapped knives in the serving line.
