Spevacek is Lilburn's Fastest Again in the Peachtree Road Race

Steven Spevacek was Lilburn's fastest runner for the second year in a row in the annual Peachtree Road Race, held Thursday, July 4, in Atlanta.
More than 55,000 runners participated in the annual 10-kilometer race down Peachtree Street.
According to results posted on the Atlanta Track Club's website, Spevacek, 20, finished 70th overall in a time of 32 minutes, 48 seconds. He was 55th last year as Lilburn's fastest running in the Fourth of July race.
Beth Preston, 31, was the area's fastest woman, running a time of 41:35. That was 96th overall among the women runners.
