Storm Causes Lightning Fire In Gwinnett, Trees Down

Friday's day storm has already caused 3 trees to fall on homes and reports of 2 house fires.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA – Gwinnett Fire crews have been busy responding to afternoon storm-related calls Friday. There have been no injuries reported yet.

Trees reported down on house:

  • 793 block of Angevine Court in Lilburn
  • 4197 block of Richmond Court in Lilburn
  • 5028 block of Woodfall drive in Lilburn

  • 2310 block of Park Estates Drive in Snellville. Caller said smoke was coming from the roof.
  • 2400 block of Waterscape Trail in Snellville‎. Caller said the house was hit by lightning and there was smoke inside house.
