Burglar Ransacks Lilburn Home, Leaves Cash and Jewelry
The burglar appears to have entered home by breaking a glass window panel at back door.

Somebody broke into a house in the 700 block of Kenion Forest Way in Lilburn and rummaged through the family's bedrooms, but didn't take anything of value, Gwinnett County Police say.
The victim told police that when she returned home at about 9:15 p.m on Sept. 8 and entered her home through the garage, she noted that the rear door was completely open.
According to police reports, the burglar had apparently entered by the backyard fence and opened a screen door on the back porch. The burlgar used an unidentified object to break the rear door window panel and reach through the broken panel to unlock the door.

The victim reported that no items had been removed from the house, but the burglar appear to have entered the upstairs level of the house where the dresser drawers in the homeowner’s room, her son’s room, and an office were opened and personal items were thrown onto the floor.
Cash, jewelry and electronic items that were reported to be inside the house in plain view were not taken, according to the police report.

The home does have an active alarm system, according to the victim, but she did not activate it prior to leaving the home.
