Teen Arrested For Hit-And-Run With Fire Truck
The 17 year old was driving an RV, which hit a car before swerving and striking the fire truck, police say.

LILBURN, GA — A Gwinnett County teen who was driving a recreational vehicle is under arrest after a hit-and-run crash involving a fire truck Sunday.
Police say David Newman, 17, was driving the RV on Five Forks Trickum Road, near Chesapeake Drive in Lilburn, when he struck the rear of a car in front of him.
After that collision, Newman's vehicle traveled into the next lane and struck a Gwinnett County fire truck, according to police.

He then reportedly fled the scene, but was followed by a witness.
Gwinnett County Police Department officers located the RV, which they say Newman abandoned and tried to run away.

Officers set up a perimeter, and apprehended Newman with the assistance of a K-9 unit.
He is charged with obstruction, fleeing and attempting to allude and numerous traffic infractions including following too closely, hit and run, no driver's license and failure to stop at a stop sign.
The driver of the first car that Newman hit was transported to Eastside Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
