Thieves Make a Beer Run at Local Ingles

Two men reportedly stole four 12-packs of beer from Ingles on Rockbridge Road one Thursday evening by running straight past the cash registers. 

At 7:45 p.m., two white males ran out of the store with two 12-packs each, worth $40 total. According to the complainant, the males then jumped into a black-and-brown Ford F-150, driven by another white male. They quickly zoomed out of the parking lot. 

The complainant, a 16-year-old female who was at the cash register when the males ran out, said the suspects' car hit another vehicle in the parking lot. The girl was able to provide a tag number of the truck and give it to Gwinnett Police, according to the report.

It is not known if an arrest has been made yet.

She told officers that one of the males was wearing a white T-shirt and a white hat, had shaggy brown hair and a scruffy beard. The other had short, dirty blond hair and facial hair and was wearing a dark shirt. The driver was wearing a red hat and a white T-shirt.
