The Operation Round Up student scholarship is available to qualifying students whose residences are served by Walton EMC. Recipients are selected by overall evaluation to a series of questions rather than by grade point average and are available to upcoming freshmen who plan to attend traditional accredited colleges as well as those planning to attend technical, vocation or other non-traditional university education.

A GCPS press release states that since its inception, Operation RoundUp has awarded 175 scholarships totaling $395,000.
