Woman Arrested for Drug Fraud
Inside the Police Reports: A woman tried to gain a prescription for pain relievers at CVS.

A local woman was arrested last week after she attempted to get a Lortab prescription filled from a phony doctor's note at CVS.
According to the police report, the pharmacist at the CVS on 4358 Burns Road told police that the suspect, 34, came in to drop off a prescription around 1 p.m. on Aug. 1.
The pharmacist noticed the prescription had two different handwritings on it, one for a prescription for Medroldoze and another for Lortab, which is an acetaminophen and hydrocodone and used to relieve moderate and severe pain, according to Drugs.com.

When the pharmacist questioned the customer about the discrepancy, the customer explained that her nurse added the Lortab prescription to the bottom of the paper.
Still feeling suspicious, the pharmacist called the doctor's office, who confirmed that they had only written the Medrolodoze prescription, not the one for Lortab.
