What a busy weekend we have had… On Friday, we had a dress rehearsal for choir for our Sunday Presentation. On Saturday morning, we met some other host families with exchange students and went to the GA Renaissance Festival in Fairburn. Such a fun day sampling food and watching people.
Today we had a beautiful service at church where our student had a solo in the musical. Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice family dinner together and then dyed easter eggs and hid/hunted them. This was another first for our student from Spain. She had never dyed easter eggs and they don't really do the hunt like we do; so she really enjoyed the day. Oh, and she LOVED the basket of easter candy! Now we are kicking back and relaxing together watching a movie. Contact me for more information on hosting and exchange student next fall.
