LILBURN, GA — Police are asking for the public's help in finding three men who tried to rob a Lilburn convenience store at gunpoint early Tuesday.
At 12:53 a.m., the three men walked into Neighborhood Market, at 646 Hillcrest Rd. at the intersection of Indian Trail Road. Police say one man acted as a lookout, while the other two put on masks and, first, robbed a man who was in his car in the parking lot.
After that robbery, they entered the store and tried to rob the store clerk. The clerk was behind security glass and the robbery was unsuccessful.
