Do you ever host events? Do you ever run deals or specials? These are both easy ways to engage your audience in your blog. You can give all the details about the event or sale so that people will be prepared when they come in. This is superb if you are only having a special section that is on sale. If you are hosting an event you can give all the event details and what people should expect with the event. Let me tell you, I know some women that will utilize all of this info when they are making plans to attend your event or sale.

This is something that I am slowly working on for my business. You can list your entire selection of services and offerings, but some stuff may need a little explanation. This is awesome if you offer something extra as part of your service that your competition does not. Make sure that you mention it as part of your blog when you are writing it. I know that with my business that this is important, for example, how many of you knew what a microsite was before reading about it in my last blog? Btw, I love how they just eat their way to that page 1 of Google.

If I am doing research for a service or product and I see some place gives a great explanation of the product or service, I am much more likely to buy from them over anyone else. Not all buyers are like me, but there are a ton of buyers out there that would love to learn more about your services. Do you have a service that doesn’t sell real well? This may be a great opportunity to put it in the spotlight! This way if it isn’t selling because no one knows about it, then it will be a great way to showcase your service or product!
New Products or Services
Just added something to your list of products or services? This is an amazing way to let people know all about it! Will this revolutionize or make a huge change in customers lives? Well make sure that you tell all of us about it!

If you get a lot of the same questions over and over again, then this is a good way to let people know 2 things. First that you know that it is asked a lot and have an answer. Secondly, that your business is knowledgeable enough to have an answer to their question. Talk about instant credibility, this will do it!

This is the single most important thing that you need to include in every blog post you write. Make sure you are sharing something of value to the person that is reading your blog post! You can write a beautifully written blog about anything in the world, but if doesn’t share something of value, then it is worthless. Sure a blog about thermodynamics shows that you are smart, but if it doesn’t answer someones question or solve a problem they are having, then it won’t gain you a customer. So keep that in mind, solve a problem or answer a question are key factors in valuable blog posts.
Money saving ideas that have to do with your industry is huge when it comes to having a valuable blog. This is especially awesome in the service industry. If you have small common occurrences that you get called out on that people can prevent themselves, then this is a great way to help your potential customer.

I love reading these! You would not believe how many of these I have read that I was astonished because I had heard some where that something was true. It is amazing to me how many common myths there are about different industries. Let me share with you one that I can guarantee you will have people mad… Myth “Macs don’t get viruses”… This used to be true, in some sense. But one of my mentors in the PC field was training on Macs over 6 years ago and had virus protection running on his machine. If you look at a lot of antivirus companies you will see that their software is now available on Macs. But I am not writing a blog about that, just sharing with you an example of a HUGE common myth that is out there.

Yes… This is huge… If you are not blogging on your own website, then you are missing out on traffic that could be coming to your website and buying your products or services!
