Farmers Helpful Hints

Wanted to start off saying that we here at Farmers Insurance look forward to being an active member to the community! Farmers is new in Georgia and now in the Loganville area. We strive to exceed customer service expectations of each and every one. That is one major thing that we will never slack on. We do have competitive rates in all insurance aspects. It doesn't cost ya a thing to get a quote and you don't even have to call us if you don't want to! http://www.farmersagent.com/zhussain or if you do wanna talk to us you can reach us at 770-652-3585.

Anyways, now that I've told you a little about what Farmers has to offer I'm going to start off this saying we are going to try and post helpful facts and info that might make life easier! They aren't always going to be insurance related. This one actually hits quite close to home for us.

Picture this, you're throwing the football in the yard with the kiddos having a great time and you notice that your little girl is doing what looks like the pee pee dance! You ask her if she she's fine, she replies saying that she has ants on her legs! You snatch her up and hose her down and get all of them off but notice that she was bitten a few times. No big deal give her some benadryl and she'll be fine! Nope what happens next is something that no parent wants to happen. Her face starts to swell and so de her legs. Every parent knows what that means! Yep a night in the ER and finding out your little girl is allergic to the biggest pest of summer!

We deal with it every year and I hate using poisons in the yard not only cause of her but because of your dogs. So we found an easier, safer and inexpensive way to deal with them.

CORNMEAL! I never would've guessed! Just put some cornmeal near the ant bedsand they will eat it but can't digest it. It is a little slower but hey it beats putting chemicals out in the yard where your little ones and furry babies can be affected!
