This Week At The Market

The Grayson Farmers' Market is held from 4-8 p.m. on each Wednesday from June 5 through August 28th in Grayson Community Park.

Though the skies were pretty ominous, opening day at the Grayson Farmers' Market was huge! Our vendors were pleased with the turnout and those shopping for fresh produce and products went home with some tasty dinner options!

Each week, we should be seeing more and more fresh produce. The growing season is in full swing so this week you should be able to walk off with some beautiful fresh squash, those amazing peaches (they promise to bring MORE), new potatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and even some Sungold Tomatoes (so much better than those winter ones from the store!).

Our bakers are going to be bringing freshly baked breads, gourmet biscotti, cookies, pastries, and loaf cakes ... and those "to-die-for" mini cheesecakes. You know you love'em! This week, we're introducing a gluten-free baker to our vendor list, so if you've got a specific intolerance to gluten or wheat products, check things out.

The MORE? Fresh herbs, amazing goat cheese products, salsas, empanadas, jams, jellies, vegan candles and natural body products ... It's going to be great!

And though mechanical problems prevented our "Mac the Cheese" indulgence, we're assured that they will be on hand for the June 12th market.

We invite you to join us for another week of fresh surprises. The market is held in Grayson Community Park, in the section right behind the Grayson Arts & History Center. We're there every Wednesday through August from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. so stop on by on your way home from work!
