Her mother, Angie, has stayed by her daughter's side and been unable to work since the accident. And it's happening the same time that Angie's husband, Michael, is being treated for Stage 3 lung cancer.
Angie's sister, Emily Fenn, has set up GoFundMe and CaringBridge pages for Ally — to help keep friends informed about her status as well as to try to raise money for the family as their medical bills pile up.

On Monday morning, the GoFundMe page had raised $4,880 of a $15,000 goal.
Her diagnosis has, at times been dire, according to the pages. But through it all, the family has maintained their faith that Ally will one day recover.
"Got some good news today about Ally!" Fenn wrote Saturday on the CaringBridge page. "As I sit here and remember all those doctors that kept giving bad news and predicting something different for Ally, I smile because I knew and had a peace that God had her all along! ...
"She is a miracle! I would not accept anyone telling me any less as the Lord led me through it!"
Anyone who would like to reach out to the family directly is asked to contact Fenn at emilyreneefenn@yahoo.com.
