- The American Legion Post 233 in Loganville is trying to help return a Marine Corp ring to its rightful owner. The ring was found in the Stone Mountain Lidl store and brought to the American Legion to assist in reuniting it with the owner. The ring has an inscription code on it that the owner will know. Contact American Legion Post 233 if you are the Marine who may have lost your ring. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- A Walton County jury sentenced a Suwanee man to serve 5 years in prison after selling fake workers' compensation insurance to local businesses. The 66-year old man is not new to fraudulent activity as he was previously convicted for similar crimes in Gwinnett County. The Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation's Enforcement Division found that he stole "hundreds of thousands of dollars" from victims, after a lengthy two year investigation. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Mark your calendars for "The 33rd Annual Cops & Kids Christmas Event." Thursday, Dec.15, representatives from various Gwinnett County Law Enforcement agencies will meet at the 1400 Lawrenceville Highway Walmart to shop for and support local kids in need this Christmas.
