Don't miss the Walton County Parks and Recreation Annual Fishing Derby at Meridian Park on April 28 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This is a free event and the largest fish by weight will win in various age groups. (Ages 4,5, ages 6-8, ages 9-10, ages 11-12 and ages 13 to adults).
The event will also feature a casting contest with the highest score of three total casts winning.
