NewSong Church has a concern for the young people of our community. As you are probably already aware, the consequences of poor life choices by our young people lead to manifold problems for themselves, their families, and the community at large. Addictions to drugs & alcohol, teen pregnancies, domestic violence, and involvement in crime are creating ever-increasing pressures on our society.
In an effort to address these issues, we are pleased to bring the ministry of Real Encounter to our area. Real Encounter is a group of Xtreme Sports stuntmen who do school assemblies featuring stunt bikes, motorcycles, skateboards, and illusions. They bring a positive message about making good choices. School Assemblies are being held on Wednesday May 2 in Monroe Area High School, Carver Middle School, Social Circle High School, and Social Circle Middle School. A full length evening program will be presented on Wednesday night at MAHS gymnasium and is open to the public.
