Fatal Accident, Quarry Trespassing, Church Prowler: Sheriff's Calls

Zone 1
Stolen Vehicle- At a residence off Leone Ave. subject reported his 1996 Nissan Truck was stolen. Owner reported vehicle taken by a known person. Warrants were taken for the suspect.

Accident- A passenger car versus a motorcycle accident on Highway 138 and Cannon Farm Rd. One confirmed fatality. Scene handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Zone 2
Arrest- Reginald Maynor was arrested at Social Circle Police Department following a 911 call to turn himself in.

Accident- A single vehicle accident occurred on Willow Springs and the Newton County Line. Driver arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Conyers Police Department. Scene handled by Georgia State Patrol.

Zone 3
Criminal Trespass- At a business off James Huff Rd. Wayne Watson was arrested after being found on location. Subject was told to stay away from the property.

Loud Music- At a residence off Evergreen Dr. it was reported that there was loud music. Deputies patrolled the area. No contact.

Zone 4
Suspicious Vehicle- At a residence off Fairview Dr. complaint reported there was a suspicious vehicle parked near the residence and driving around the area. Possible drug relation. Deputies patrolled the area. No contact.

Prowler- At a church off Highway 11 subject reported a white male running into the wood line. Subject reported it could possibly be and Ex trying to spoil the wedding plans. Deputies patrolled the area. No contact.

Firearms- At a residence off Luther Adams Rd. subject reported there were firearms being discharged in the area. Deputies patrolled. No contact.

Zone 5
Arrest- At Forest Ridge subdivision Parker Charles Smith was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Clarke County.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Piney Grove Rd. and Summit Ct. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 6
Theft- At a residence off Gum Creek Ct. subject reported that medication was taken between May 31, 2015 and June 4, 2015.

Dispute- At a residence off Wesleyan Ln. subject reported there was a disagreement with four male subjects. Vehicle located and stopped. Driver, Christopher Mitchell, was arrested for driving while unlicensed.

Trespassing- Three subjects reported trespassing at the Rock Quarry. Deputies located subjects. Premises was cleared.

Zone 7
Damage to Property- At a residence off Cedar Lake subject reported sons tires had been slashed sometime during the night.

Theft- At a residence off Gum Creek subject reported medication missing.
