Fire on Hwy. 81 Destroys Building, Stops Traffic
The fire happened at about 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, fire officials say.

LOGANVILLE, GA — A house fire just south of Loganville shut down traffic on Hwy. 81 in Walton County early Wednesday.
The fire started at about 6:30 a.m., Walton County fire officials say.
The blaze happened at Hwy. 81 and Robertson Road and did heavy damage to a house that was unoccupied at the time but being renovated by its owner as a rental unit.

Traffic on Hwy. 81 was shut down for about an hour and a half as firefighters battled the blaze.
