Gwinnett Police said in an email that officers responded to a domestic dispute call at 138 Mission Oak Drive in Grayson around 8:30 p.m.

A male armed with a gun came to the location uninvited and threatened to kill everyone,” Gwinnett Police spokesman Sgt. Brian Doan said. “The male formerly lived at the location and is the ex-husband of the female that lives there. Two teenaged children ran from the location and called 911.”

When officers arrived, the male was outside the residence and still armed.

“The male refused to drop his weapon and was shot multiple times,” Doan said.

The suspect was taken to Eastside Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation, Doan said.
