Pharr Elementary is honored to host the Empty Bowls event on Thursday, February 19th from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in the Pharr cafeteria.

The mission of the Empty Bowls event is to raise awareness and help fight hunger in our community. It is also a chance for Pharr students to use their creativity to help those in need in our community. Please join us for a simple meal of soup, bread and salad.
After dinner, you will be invited to take home a student-made ceramic bowl, helping hand or loving hand as a reminder of how we can use our “hands” and our “hearts” to help those in our community that have “empty bowls”.

The suggested donation for your meal is $6.00 per adult, $3.00 per child or $20.00 for a family of 5 or more. Proceeds will benefit the SE Gwinnett Co-Op and the Lawrenceville Co-Op.
