A Gwinnett Couple Face Child Cruelty Charges After Girl, 6, Found Locked In Room

A girl was found living in a bedroom with trash, spoiled food and human waste, according to Gwinnett police.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A Gwinnett couple who face child cruelty charges appeared before a judge Thursday, reported WSB-TV.

Police said Joseph Lipscomb and Tiphanie Lanier locked their six-year-old daughter in a room for more than 12 hours a day with only an old mattress, spoiled food and human waste.

The couple is being held without bond.
