FUTURE VALUE: MONEY LESSONS FOR LIFE Provides Practical Advice for Graduates

Author, speaker and financial advisor Mark DiGiovanni has released his seventh book, Future Value: Money Lessons for Life. The book, available for sale now on Amazon.com, is geared for recent or soon-to-be graduates, providing practical, easy to understand financial advice on setting a foundation for a successful career and life.
“Money is the single most important tool we use to build our life,” said DiGiovanni. “Our society spends enormous energy teaching our children how to make this tool, but we spend almost no energy teaching them how to use it. I wanted to write a book for young adults venturing out into the world, on their own for the first time, with basic lessons that would help ensure their financial success, now and for their future.”
Future Value is a book of short, three- to four-page essays covering basic lessons on building a solid financial future. The advice is not just about managing assets, but covers every aspect of life that affects personal finance, including the environmental, spiritual and psychological factors that can dictate a secure future versus instability. Essay titles include:

DiGiovanni is a certified financial planner and president of Marathon Financial Strategies in Atlanta. He was one of the first seven CFP Ambassadors appointed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards; in this role, he supports the CFP Board’s Consumer Advocacy Program and addresses the financial issues of the American consumer through public speaking engagements and media appearances. DiGiovanni's first career was as an industrial arts careers teacher, where he sought to teach his students skills that could perhaps lead them into successful technical careers. As a CFP, the author continues to teach; his stated mission is to “enlighten, enable and enrich.”
While the book was written with young adults in mind, the author targets an older audience for marketing, believing it would make a good graduation gift for younger family members.
“When I’ve taught these lessons to groups, the most frequent comment I hear is ’I wish I had learned this when I was younger.’ Future Value can provide the advice this generation needs to pass on to future generations.”
DiGiovanni authored six previous books that look at how a sound financial strategy reaches beyond money.
