In last month's meeting, the Grayson City Council voted unanimously to continue the Wednesday market throughout the winter months to make it a Year-Round Market - one of the few in the region and the only year-round market in Gwinnett!
Councilman James Gillespie will chair the market committee; Gail Lane will continue as liaison; and Sylvia Still (also known as "Not Gail") will still be part of the welcoming committee as Grayson hosts the market which will be comprised of most of YOUR favorite vendors.
Grayson will continue to enjoy the freshest locally grown produce!
Many of the produce vendors made early arrangements for this possibility and have taken advantage of high tunnels and green house plantings to bring some of your favorite winter crops as well as some that aren't normally found "fresh" during these months. That's right ... they're coaxing some tomatoes, cucumbers and squash out of the ground ... JUST FOR GRAYSON!
Some of your favorite bakers have committed for the year-round market as have food trucks, Big Daddy Que, the European Market and the Chuck Wagon for your "dinner in the park" experience! B&G Farms will continue to bring farm fresh eggs, beef, chicken and that totally awesome bacon that is absolutely worth the trip into town!
The vendors have lined up some kid-friendly activities to share with the community and this week, we'll have some fabulously fun bounce house activities for the little ones to enjoy as you get your marketing complete.
