Grayson Farmers' Market Kicks Off the Summer Season!

Though the Farmers' Market is year-round in Grayson, June 4 is the official kick-off for the Summer Season!
Throughout the last few weeks, our vendors have been bringing their ever increasing bounty to market, and within the next few weeks, we'll be seeing a lot more of the usual Summer fare.
The winter lingered on, allowing us an extended opportunity to taste some pretty awesome strawberries, but now it is time for cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, and peppers! And whatever else Farmer Cass and his friends have put in the ground for the folks in Grayson to enjoy!
In the last few weeks, we've enjoyed peaches from Pearson Farms along with some early green tomatoes, fresh greens, lettuces, radishes and some pretty spectacular Spring onions. 
Because we showcase locally grown foods, here in Georgia, the peak of "tomato season" won't be for a few more weeks, but there are some early offerings to be found (if you get to market early enough!). 
On June 4th, in addition to the produce and the baked goods, we'll be hosting the North Georgia Two-Cylinder Club with the ever-popular "Touch-A-Tractor" for the kids and Miss Terry will be on site with her ever-so-patient menagerie and pony rides. We'll also have the Grant & Moe Show with Buddy on Bass for entertainment (and who KNOWS might show up for that???).
