Dr. Bonita C. Jacobs, president of the University of North Georgia (UNG), recognized more than 1,000 students for their academic performance during fall semester 2014 by naming them to the President’s List and President’s Honor Roll.
Included were the following Grayson-area students:

- Taylor A. Thompson, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, made the President’s List.
- Lauren Griffin, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, made the President’s List.
- Briana Rose Quezada, who is pursuing an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Care and Education, made the President’s Honor Roll.
- Rebecca Garland Conner, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, made the President’s List.
- Alexandra Nicole Robbins, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages, made the President’s List.
