  1. Santavious Bryant has been named the Head Coach of Grayson High School's football team. Bryant, 28, spent the 2022 season as a defensive coach for Class 6A state runner-up Gainesville. He was previously an assistant at Grayson for several seasons, and has now returned to lead the Grayson Rams. He was approved Thursday night by the Gwinnett County Public Schools Board of Education. Athletic Director, Brian DeBerry, welcome Coach Bryant, his wife and children back to the Grayson community. (Gwinnett Prep Sports)
  2. The Loganville Police Department is requesting help from the community to find a runaway male juvenile. He was last seen Monday, Jan. 16 in the area of Alexander Crossing. He has been known to frequent nearby areas in Loganville like Huntington Ridge, Tara, and Towler Shoals. There is currently not a clothing description. Beginning Monday, the store will be having an overstock sale on merchandise from the Walton County School clusters. They have multiple items from Walnut Grove, Loganville, and Monroe Area. Some items include baseball and football jerseys, pants, various spirit wear items, and hats. They will also have blank sweatshirts, hoodies, shorts, sweatpants, and more.   • Senior citizens in Gwinnett County may be eligible for tax breaks. If you are 65 or older, and you income is less than $112, 048, the Senior School Tax Homestead Exemption may apply to you. Seniors with a vehicle 10 years or older, who drive less than 5,000 miles in a year, may also be eligible for an emissions waiver.     • Check out the restricted Conservation Area of Panola Mountain State Park with volunteer hikers at the 2023 Friends of Panola Mountain Extended Hike. (9:00am-2:00pm)
    • Braves Fest at Truist Park and The Battery where admission is free! Enjoy on-field activities, player autographs and Q&A sessions, live performances, baseball clinics, and more fun for the family! (10:00am-4:00pm)
