Gun Store Owner Charged After Shooting Between Employee At Duluth Store: Report

An argument between an employee and the owner of Gun Lobby escalated into a shooting, according to Duluth police.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The owner of Gun Lobby in Duluth has been charged with assault after a shooting between him and an employee, reported the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for Charles Collins who was wanted in connection to the Jan. 26 shooting that happened at the store, 3931 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

The employee, John August, told police he shot Collins after he threatened him with a gun, reported the AJC.

Police said an argument started between the two, which led to the shooting, reported WAGA-TV. Both were taken to local hospitals.
