Gwinnett County 4th Of July Fireworks: 2018 Guide
Here's your complete guide to Fourth of July fireworks shows, steam engine parade and other festive events in Gwinnett County.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Cities in Gwinnett County will be busy lighting up the sky this Fourth of July holiday. Patch has assembled events going on in Lilburn, Buford, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Norcross, Snellville, Stone Mountain, Loganville and Sugar Hill.
On Wednesday, a 40 percent chance for rain kicks in at about 9 a.m. and lasts all day. Wednesday night's low is expected to be around 73 under partly cloudy skies. We'll have that same 40 percent chance after dark, so keep an eye on the latest forecasts. Thursday, though, that chance will jump up to 50 percent, the National Weather Service says.
Independence Day: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9 a.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 m.p.h. Wednesday night, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73.

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms again Thursday night. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72.
Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Friday night, a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Lilburn's Sparkle in the Park
Sparkle in the Park will take place Wednesday, July 4, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the city park, located at 76 Main St., Lilburn.
This annual event in Lilburn City Park will include a variety of food, children's activities, live entertainment, and of course, fireworks! The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Event Schedule (subject to change):
•5:30 p.m. Event begins. Balloon artists and family photos will be available at no cost, while supplies last, until 9:30 p.m. Food trucks/vendors will begin selling.
•7:30 p.m. The GLOW band takes the stage
•9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin. The show lasts approximately 20 minutes.

•Air-conditioned shuttles will transport attendees from parking lots at Lilburn City Hall-Library,the lot at Young and Church Streets, and the lot at Poplar Street and Killian Hill.
•Park pick-up/drop-off point is one block from Lilburn City Park.
•Accessible parking will be available at Lilburn City Park (76 Main Street) on a first come, first served basis.
•Main Street will be closed from approximately 9 - 10:30 p.m. to allow for safe passage of pedestrians from Lilburn City Park following the fireworks.
Those parked near Lilburn City Park will be routed down Poplar Street to Killian Hill Road or down Camp Creek Road to Arcado Road. **Please note that if you park near Lilburn City Park or on Main Street, you may not be able to leave the area for at least 30 minutes following the event.

1910 Public House will be selling beer and wine at the event.
What to bring:
•Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended. Tents and grills are not allowed.
•Coolers are allowed and are subject to search. No outside alcohol allowed. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the event and in the Old Town hospitality zone.
•Due to the large crowd and fireworks, it is recommended that pets not be brought to the event.
•No outside fireworks or sparklers.
•Please remember that smoking is not allowed in Lilburn City Park.

Buford
In Buford, the Mall of Georgia's 16th Annual Star Spangled Fourth event starting at 3 p.m Wednesday.
Mall of Georgia’s 16th Annual Star Spangled Fourth event offers fun activities for the entire family including children’s rides and inflatables, live music, food and beverage concessions and the largest fireworks display in the county.
Wednesday, July 4, at 3 p.m.
The event, at 3333 Buford Drive, offers food concessions, Kid Zone, and more beginning at 3 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Dick's Sporting Goods and Barnes and Noble.
Free concerts begin at 5 p.m. in the Village Amphitheatre:
5-7 p.m. – The Throwback Experience
7:30-9:30 p.m. – Mike Veal Band
9:30 p.m. - Singing of the National Anthem
9:35 p.m. – Gwinnett County’s grandest fireworks display

Duluth Celebrates America
Tuesday, July 3, 5:30 - 10 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day on July 3rd with a fabulous firework display, rockin' bands and activities for all to enjoy. Enjoy food trucks, children's activities, giveaways and more on Duluth Town Green.
Performances by: A-Town-A-List & 116th Army Band
The event kicks off July 3 at 5:30 p.m. on Town Green with live music, food trucks, inflatables and other fun activities and will conclude with Fireworks around 9:45 p.m. over City Hall.
- There are no VIP tables available for purchase this year.
- During Duluth Celebrates America, Downtown Duluth is an open container area so you are welcome to bring anything you want but we will have food and beverage vendors onsite if you do not wish to bring your own.
- No tents and tables may not be set up as it restricts the view of other attendees in the area.
- Many attendees will come early to lay down blankets and chairs to reserve their place for the day’s festivities. Please note that we do not allow staking of any kind into the grass and the City is not responsible for any items left unattended throughout the day.
- Leashed pets are always welcome.
Parking
Both Main Street and West Lawrenceville will be closed to through traffic and all City Hall parking will be blocked off for the Fireworks fall out zone. Dedicated handicap parking will be the top parking lot on Hill Street. Please visit our Downtown Duluth page to see more available free parking.

The city of Lawrenceville will present its Prelude to the 4th event Tuesday, July 3.
The City of Lawrenceville will host a special Prelude to 4th honoring America’s Day of Independence as well as Gwinnett's Bicentennial Celebration on Tuesday, July 3rd. An evening of fun for the whole family starts at 5 p.m.

The city of Norcross will present Red, White and BOOM in the historic downtown area from 5 to 10 p.m. July 3.
The City of Norcross is throwing a pre-Fourth of July block party and you’re invited! Make your way to the heart of downtown historic Norcross on July 3 for food, fun and fireworks during the 2018 edition of Red White and BOOM!
Location: All of downtown Norcross; Kidzone will be on downtown streets, Mother’s Finest will be performing in Lillian Webb Park, artists/vendors will be stationed downtown and food trucks can be found at Lillian Webb Park.

Star Spangled Snellville
Star Spangled Snellville will take place at the Towne Green from 4 to 10 p.m. July 4.
The popular Star Spangled Snellville event featuring one of the best firework shows in the Southeast is set for July 4.
The Snellville Tourism and Trade Association will present an unforgettable Fourth of July experience in the heart of Snellville from 4-10 p.m. on the Towne Green.
The event begins with family friendly entertainment, including the tastes and smells of some of your favorite festival foods along with a large playground of inflatables, the BIG KAHUNA water slide, train rides and bungee jump. Ride as often as you like with an all-day arm band for only $10.
The CONTAGIOUS Band will take the stage at 5 p.m. followed by RHYTHM NATION at 7:30 p.m.
The fireworks display will begin when the sky becomes dark, approximately 9:30 p.m.

Sparks in the Park at Sugar Hill is set to take place from 6 to 10 p.m. July 3.
The City of Sugar Hill invites you and your family to share a fun-filled night with us. Celebrate and enjoy a free night of live music from The Mike Veal Band and the best fireworks display in Gwinnett County! Concessions and food will be available.
