First, today's weather:

Here are the top five stories in Loganville-Grayson today:
- The Citizens Review Team, which consists of five Gwinnett County residents, will begin hearing budget presentations from Gwinnett County government department heads today, Aug. 29. The review team will help County Commission Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson decide what to put in the county's 2023 budget. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- A family in Lawrenceville, just ten minutes outside of Grayson, wants their eight-week-old Patterdale Terrier puppy back. On Aug. 13, security camera video shows a man and a woman stealing the puppy from the Gwinnett County family's driveway. As of Sunday evening, police still are investigating. (WSB Atlanta)
- Gwinnett County election officials are looking for poll workers for the upcoming general election. To find candidates for the job, the county will host six poll worker hiring events at Gwinnett library branches. View the link to see the date and times for the events. (Gwinnett Daily Post)
- Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful (GC&B) is inviting residents to become a part of their Adopt-A-Stream Program and the Yellow River Trash Bash. Participants will be responsible for chemical and bacterial monitoring of one local stream. GC&B provides all the tools and teaches participants what to do at workshops.
