Gwinnett Kroger Store Closing Tuesday

The Kroger, on Highway 78, is offering deep discounts for customers before it closes Tuesday evening.

SNELLVILLE, GA — A Kroger store in Gwinnett County is closing its doors Tuesday after nearly 30 years in business.

The supermarket, at Highway 78 and Bethany Church Road in Snellville, is offering deep discounts to liquidate its inventory on its last day in business.

Company officials announced last month that the store would be closing due to declining sales. The store's 118 employees will reportedly be considered for reassignment to other Kroger locations.
