Hey, Gwinnett ... Do You Know These Burglars?

DULUTH, GA -- Police are looking for help finding a pair of burglars who made an early-morning run on a Chevron gas station in Duluth last month.

Shortly before 3 a.m. on December 9, Gwinnett County Police got a call that a burglar alarm had gone off at the Chevron at 2640 Duluth Hwy. They arrived to see the store had been broken into.

When the owner arrived, he told police that thousands of dollars, cigarettes, phone calling cards and headsets were missing.

Police later viewed surveillance footage that showed what appear to be two men breaking into the store using a yellow crowbar.

One man’s face and head are concealed behind a hooded vest and other clothing, including a white t-shirt being used to cover his facial features.

The other burglar, however, decided to chat on his cellphone throughout the burglary. His face is visible in the photographs above.

Police are asking anyone with information in the case to contact the department’s burglary unit at (770) 513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at (404) 577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org. Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
