Hot Tamale! Calling all Chili Cooks and Connoisseurs

It you consider yourself a top chili chef, or a taste connoisseur, the 7th Annual Hot Tamale Chili Cook-off in Grayson is where you need to be on Nov. 5.

Nothing warms your heart more on a fall afternoon than some tasty chili – and if its for a good cause, well that’s about as heart warming as it gets.

The Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to help support the Grayson Cluster School Foundation and the chamber in the 7th Annual Hot Tamale Chili Cook-off in on Nov. 5.

So if you’re a chili cook, or a chili connoisseur, GECC is looking for you. It’s not too late to enter your best chili recipe to try and earn top honors in the cook-off but you will need to hurry, because booth space is assigned on a first come, first served basis. There is no fee for GCSF student/staff organizations;  $20 for individuals, non-business, $35 for business/professional and $40 for an arts or crafts sales booth.
