Hundreds of Students to Gather for Gwinnett Science and Engineering Fair
Grayson-area schools will be well-represented in the Feb. 27 fair.

The Gwinnett County Regional Science and Engineering Fair, celebrates its 37th anniversary with participation from 90 schools including representation from all 18 GCPS school clusters, two GCPS special entities, and six other non-GCPS schools that operate in Gwinnett County. The 2015 Gwinnett County Regional Science and Engineering Fair will occur on Friday, February 27, 2015, at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth. Visitors are welcome to the Project Exhibit open to the public, which begins at 4 p.m.

There will be two awards ceremonies — grades 3-5, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.; grades 6-12, 8 p.m.-9 p.m.
This year, there are more than 628 projects which already have won first-place at their local school science fairs, representing the best of student research. The more than 815 students who have advanced to this district-wide regional competition will be judged by Georgia professionals and scientists who will assess them on scientific quality, accuracy, creativity, and experimental design.
