Husband of Home Daycare Owner Charged with Child Molestation
Report: Richard Paltrineri confessed to molesting six victims in nearby Auburn, ages 2 to 5.

Police have arrested the husband of a state-licensed home daycare owner in Auburn and charged him with multiple child molestation offenses.
The Barrow County Sheriffβs Office said in a news release that Richard Paltrineri, 64, of Auburn, was arrested on March 20 after a child came forward earlier in the day to reveal alleged abuse at the daycare business operated by his wife, Susan Paltrineri.
Subsequent investigation led to multiple counts of child molestation, sexual battery, and cruelty to children; one count of aggravated sodomy; and one count of aggravated child molestation. Additional charges are possible.

βThere have been multiple children identified as victims at this point. Their ages range from two to five years old, and include both boys and girls,β the sheriffβs office said on Facebook.
The Gwinnett Daily Post reported Thursday that Paltrineri had confessed to molesting six victims.

The home daycare facility is located at 1442 Elliotβs Lane in Auburn and is licensed under the name βSusanSilly Expressions Pre-School Program.β

The investigation began the morning of Paltrineriβs arrest, when a child who attended the day care made a disclosure to its parents. Sheriffβs Officials executed a search warrant at the Auburn residence and day care facility late Friday evening. Among items obtained were numerous documents Sheriffβs Officials believed will contain the identities of former children who were at the facility. Over the weekend Sheriffβs Investigators also spoke with family members of known victims. Investigators are also following up with children and families who may have had contact with Mr. Paltrineri or the home day care facility.
