LHS Drama Club To Perform 'Charlotte's Web'

The drama students from Loganville High School will be performing "Charlotte's Web" for the community at 7 p.m. tonight in the school auditorium.

"We've already had performances at the elementary schools for the students," said Savannah Calles, who plays the lead role in the play of Charlotte.

The play is an adaptation of the award-winning children's novel, "Charlotte's Web," by acclaimed American author E.B. White. The plot is about a pig, named Wilbur, who is slated for the slaughterhouse - that is until an intelligent spider, Charlotte, intervenes. The book, published in 1952, is a classic.
