Loganville Crime Watch: Front Doors Kicked In, But Nothing Was Stolen

CRIME AWARENESS/COMMUNITY INFORMATION ALERT

Activity date: October 22, 2014 – October 23, 2014

Zone 1
Fraud – A subject was reportedly using numerous bad checks at the Maverick Express on Highway 138.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Alcovy Station at Jersey Covington Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Citations were issued during the safety check.

Arrest – Kristy Bullard and Fabian Chasteen were arrested on Kraddle Kreek Drive.

Burglary – A business on Hwy 81 was burglarized. Items were taken from the business.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hightower Trail at Whitehead Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Citations were issued during the safety check.

Zone 2
Arrest – Virgil Hall was arrested on Country Club Drive in reference to outstanding warrants.

Zone 3
Burglary – The front door to a residence on Bethany Church Rd. was found kicked in. Nothing appeared to be taken from the residence.

Arrest – Danielle Shelton was arrested on Old Monroe Madison Hwy in reference to an outstanding warrant.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Mulberry Creek Drive in the Poppyfield Farms subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 4
Burglary – The front door to a residence on Michael Rd. was found kicked in. Nothing appeared to be taken from the residence.

Zone 5
Theft – A Stihl blower was taken from a property on McCullers Drive.

Suspicious Vehicle – A suspicious Silver Chevrolet Blazer was observed on Highway 81 near Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church.

Extra Patrol – Juveniles were observed destroying pumpkins on Hwy 81 in the River Colony subdivision. Extra patrol was requested.

Trespassing – A tent with a sleeping bag was found in the wood line on Bold Springs Rd. and the Walton County Station 8 Fire Department.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Nicholsville Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. One arrest was made during the safety check.

Zone 6
Suspicious Person – A suspicious white male was observed on Highway 81 near West Walton Auto.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to several alarms at a property on Southern Hill Drive. All windows and doors were secure.

Theft – A black utility trailer was taken from a residence on Greenridge Drive.

Vehicle Accident – A vehicle was struck while parked in the roadway on Angie Court.

Zone 7

Damage to Property – A report was made on Thompson Mill Rd. in reference to a vehicle being damaged while being serviced.

Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a business on Leone Avenue. All windows and doors were secure.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Broadnax Mill Rd. at Youth Monroe Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Safety Checkpoint – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Guthrie Cemetery Rd. at Guthrie Crossing. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
