Loganville Farm Land Targeted for Craft Beer Brewery

Atlanta brewpub owner will ask for rezoning in January, according to news reports

The owner of a popular brewpub in Atlanta has announced plans to expand into the Loganville area, according to news reports.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reported Bob Sandage, owner of the Wrecking Bar Brewpub in Atlanta, will ask the county planning commission early next year to rezone around seven acres from 40 acres of farm land on Brushy Fork Road in order to build a new craft beer brewery. The property is known as Dillwood Farms.

Sandage told the Post if zoning is approved, the remaining farm property would supply produce to the new business, including hops.
