Dallas Aliece Hasty was among 93 Greensboro College students to receive degrees during the college’s Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 2.Hasty, of Grayson, GA, received a B.S. in Business Administration & Economics.

UNG’s Department of Visual Arts honors
During spring semester, the University of North Georgia’s (UNG) Department of Visual Arts celebrated the accomplishments of its students with the presentation of awards and recognition and exhibitions that showcased the work of graduating seniors. Megan Longo of Grayson won the Oconee Faculty Choice award. Longo is majoring in art.
Piedmont College Academic Honors Spring 2015
Piedmont College has recognized students from the 2015 Spring Semester who were selected as Dean’s Scholars and named to the Dean’s List. Students named as Dean’s Scholars have earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average for the semester, and students named to the Dean’s List have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 to 3.99.

Spring 2015 Academic Achievement at Georgia Southwestern State
Courtney Weller, a resident of Loganville, made the Spring 2015 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 487 students recognized for scholastic achievement.To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA
Named to President’s List at Bob Jones University
Lauren Blattel, a Freshman Nursing major from Grayson, was among approximately 480 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2015 President’s List. This President’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher GPA.
