Graduates from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine
Gregory Ollick of Grayson graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a Master of Arts in Theology - Advanced Diaconal Studies. Saint Joseph’s College is Maine’s only Catholic college, providing a supportive, personalized, and career-focused education for more than 100 years.

Named to the Troy University Chancellor’s List
Richard Harrison of Loganville, GA, has been named to the Chancellor’s List at Troy University for the spring semester/Term 4 of the 2014/2015 academic year. The Chancellor’s List honors full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0.
Piedmont College Spring 2015 Graduation
Piedmont College held its spring Commencement ceremonies May 2, 2015, at the Johnny Mize Athletic Center in Demorest. Some 385 students earned Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Education Specialist, and Doctoral degrees.
The following area students earned degrees.
- Monique S. Leaphart of Loganville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts .
- Hovie F. Lister of Loganville earned a Master of Business Administration degree .
- Connor Lockridge of Loganville earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with high honors.
- Elizabeth A. Parmer of Loganville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance with high honors.
- Kallie A. Robinson of Loganville earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design & Technical Theatre with honors.
- Natalia B. Seagreen of Loganville earned a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education .
- Rachel E. Tolliver of Grayson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors.
- Lindsey E. Welch of Loganville earned an Education Specialist degree.
Odum Scholar at Valdosta State University
Kasey Copeland of Grayson, Georgia, has accepted an Odum Scholarship valued at $1,000 per year to attend Valdosta State University during the 2015-2016 academic year. This award is renewable.
Berry College Releases Dean’s List
The following students have been named to Berry College’s spring 2015 Dean’s List, according to Provost Kathy Richardson. The Dean’s List honors students who posted an academic average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours during the semester.
