Loganville July 4th Fireworks, Parade, Music
An afternoon parade will be followed by live music and fireworks in Loganville on Saturday, July 1, 2017

LOGANVILLE, GA — A parade, live music and fireworks will highlight the 2017 Independence Day celebration in Loganville.
The celebration is taking place on Saturday, July 1, on Main Street.
Festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. with a parade down Main Street. Applications are still being accepted to participate in the parade and can be found online or made by email to kpeters@loganville-ga.gov.

Following the parade, there will be a stage set up on the field next to American Legion Post
233, where the Stephen Lee band will perform beginning at 7 p.m.
There will be no parking available at the site. Those interested are encouraged to park in the Ingles shopping center and make the short walk to the field.

The Legion will be open, offering people a place to take a break from the heat and order food and beverages both inside at the Main Hall and in the covered pavilion located on the property. Parking at the Legion will be reserved for customers only.
The celebraion will conclude with a fireworks show beginning at dark. The fireworks will be visible from both the Ingles and Kroger shopping centers.
The Oberman Law Firm has signed on to be the headline sponsor for this year's activities.

Folks heading out to the festivities may want to bring an umbrella, just in case. According to the National Weather Service, there's a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. Saturday night, that chance dips to 30 percent, with a low temperature of 72.
