Here are the top five stories today in Loganville-Grayson:

  1. As of early Monday afternoon, police were searching for a man who is wanted for sexual battery and exposing himself at stores across Gwinnett County. The man reportedly asked for a store employee's help, exposed himself, and assaulted them. Investigators believe the man is also connected to reports in Dawson County as well. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. The Loganville Police Department reported having arrested a 41-year-old woman earlier this month on charges of DUI (alcohol). The woman passed out at the wheel of her vehicle and ended up on the grassy median between Highway 81 and Ga. 10. The woman was taken to LPD for booking and transported to the Walton County jail.   3. The Gwinnett County Health Department ratings for restaurants in the area have been reported from last week's inspections. Five restaurants have been given a letter "U" rating of "unsatisfactory." The restaurants include Burger King No. 3988, Huskers Cafe, Dunkin' Donuts in Lawrenceville, Atlanta Dream Wings, and Moo Tea. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
  4. Philanthropy Fresh, a new concept restaurant, is coming to the Loganville Kroger Shopping Center next month. "We will be serving custom bowl creations, as well as build your own bowls, salads, smash burgers, and acai creations," the owners posted on their Facebook page.   5. Grayson native Chase Brice has been recognized by the Sun Belt Conference in his senior football year. The Appalachian State University quarterback has been named Preseason All-Sun Belt Second Team Offense. The announcement came on Monday when the Sun Belt Conference announced its 2022 Preseason All-Sun Belt Teams, individual awards, and Preseason Poll. (Sun Belt Conference)
