Members of Walton County CAP Earn Aerospace Education Awards

Submitted by Lt. Michele Schneck, public information officer for the Walton County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol.

Two awards were given out at the 27 September 2011 meeting, at the Walton County Composite Squadron. Both Capt Donald McKeon and Lt Tiberiu Almasi received the Brigadier General Charles E. “Chuck” Yeager Aerospace Education Achievement Award.

Capt McKeon has also earned the Technician Rating as an Aerospace Education Officer. To reach this goal, Capt McKeon was required to oversee aerospace education, pass the test for his rating, as well as prepare reports and many other activities.
