She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Douglas V. Buffington; Children: Billy & Teresa Byrd of Watkinsville; Glenda & Don Ferguson of Locust Grove; Wayne & Becky Buffington of Conyers; Sisters: Bobbie Herndon of Washington D.C.; Colleen Ledbetter of Hartwell; Betty Sue Spence of Jefferson; Grandchildren: Haley Byrd, Rhianna Byrd, Keith Ferguson, Kelly Ferguson, Jesse Buffington, and 2 Great Grandchildren.
