Jerry Bafford, age 72 of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Funeral Services were held at 4 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville. Rev. David Clark, Michael Bruner, and Pastor Jimmy Wilson officiates. Burial followed at Corinth Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Bafford was a graduate of Hoke Smith High School where he played baseball and football. After graduating he went on to try out for the Dodgers baseball team. Mr. Bafford was a United States Air Force Veteran and had retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He also worked in the hardware department at Walmart in Loganville for 12 years.

Mr. Bafford is survived by his wife of 50 years, Tootsie Bafford; Children: Tracey Bruner of Loganville; Terry Bafford of Loganville; Amy Bafford and Fiancé Glen Adams of Charlotte, TN; Sister & Brother-in-law: Linda & Rev. David Clark of Stockbridge; Sister-in-law: Dot Owens of Stone Mountain; Grandchildren: Michael & Becky Bruner, Katie Bruner, Matthew & Hannah Bruner, Miles Bruner, Kloie Bruner; Great Grandchildren: Wesley Bruner, Brooklyn Bruner, and Charleigh Bruner; Several Nieces & Nephews. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to The Ministry Village, 678 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052.
