Lucille Frances Higgs age 90 of Grayson, GA, formerly of Jackson, MS, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, CST, Monday July 20, 2015 at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson, MS. Dr. Joe Martin will officiate.

A native of Fort Ogden, FL, Mrs. Higgs was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Higgs and her late husband were owners of Land of Sleep Furniture Store before she became a manager with UniFirst Bank in Jackson, MS.

She is preceded by her husband: Owen Jackson Higgs, Sr.; son: Owen Jackson “Jack” Higgs, Jr.; daughter: Patricia Higgs Hodge.

Surviving relatives are her daughter & son-in-law; Francie & Wayne McCormick of Grayson, GA, grandchildren: Lauren McCormick of Atlanta, GA; Lee & Jennifer McCormick of Charleston, SC; Sean & Angela Mooer of Bay Minette, AL; Sydney Ray Hodge of Bossier City, LA.
